Firstly, there were jokes about sterilizing the children for the good of the science experiment, making a joke about what part of the child that grew in size was pressing up the main male character up against the glass, and also, did these children even have their parents' permission to be held against their will at a scientific laboratory, to have all these experiments run on them?

It gets worse. There were super awkward sexual remarks made between the main character and the scantily-clad female character which happened throughout the movie. But that wasn't the cringiest part! The sexualizing of the 6-year-old little girl was what made me have to turn off the movie Not only were her hair and make-up super overly done in an unnecessary "beauty-pageant" kind of way , but there is a super unnecessary scene in which she goes into the room where the main male character is sleeping and insists on sleeping next to him.

Normalizing this is wrong!! I had to stop the movie and explain to my children that this is NOT NORMAL, that if they are scared, they should ask for their parents or for a trusted adult to help them--NOT to sleep next to a strange man you just met.

She also insists on holding his hand as he led her away, and I just couldn't watch. This whole movie is not only a huge bust but extremely questionable. Tim Allen's character is absolutely awful to these kids, and the disrespectful actions of these kids toward all the adults is horrendous. There was so much explaining I had to do that I just couldn't. Do yourself a favor and don't watch this. It's a spoiler-plagued review. Be warned.
